4. Calling Out The Mandarin (As Stupid As It Was) (Iron Man 3)

There is no denying that this was completely and utterly stupid - but it was also bad-ass to the extreme. In Iron Man 3, after the Mandarin had carried out his bombings - one of which had seriously injured Tony Stark's good friend and chief of security Happy Hogan - Stark overcame the constant fear he was experiencing due to the events in the Avengers movie and issued a televised threat to the terrorist. In the threat, Stark somewhat foolishly stated his home address on live television and the Mandarin responded by destroying his home with helicopter gunships whilst Stark, Pepper Potts and Maya Hansen were inside. Again, there's no doubting that this was a bad move when it came to jeopardising Stark's safety and the safety of those close to him, but the fact he was prepared to direct a known terrorist to his house - and then not wear his armour 24/7 while he was there - took some major balls.
