11. The Other Gauntlet Actually Was A Fake

Now, we covered this one in our first rundown of MCU Retcons, we commented on the retconning of the Gauntlet spotted in Odin's vault, reminding everyone that Kevin Feige had vaguely explained that artefact away as a second Gauntlet. That, unfortunately, wiped out the clever foreshadowing they'd established

Kevin Feige came out with the answer, and it wasn't a pretty one; that one we'd been obsessing over wasn't the Gauntlet Thanos would use. He tried to explain it away as there being two, but you just know that the one in Odin's vault will never been seen again, taking all excitement about the detailed foreshadowing with it.

But then he was lying in that respect too, because the Gauntlet wasn't merely a second one, it was a fake. That was very much spelled out when Hela broke into Odin's vault after taking Asgard and pushed it over comically, denouncing it as a fake. It was almost like Marvel's executives had been reading plot-hole articles online.
