Though he hasn't actually appeared in a DCEU film properly yet, we have already been introduced to the power of Aquaman's trident very briefly when he destroyed whatever camera was sent down to hunt him in the footage Bruce Wayne was shown. That was very much just the tip of the iceberg.

The trident is part of the seven Relics of Atlantis and allows its wielder great power and also the right to rule the sea. It's like a crown with actual magic powers.

And it's not just about telling fish what to do: the Trident can manipulate water and weather as well as shooting out bolts of energy and conjuring force fields (because it was forged out of admantine and Neptune's essence). And it's also capable of turning living creatures into something else entirely.

How many more of these powers we will actually see remains to be seen, but we've already had the energy bolts and the water control in the Justice League teaser.
