13 Movie Sequels You Didn't Know Came Out In 2018
12. Hellraiser: Judgment
Hellraiser is the cockroach of horror franchises, because no matter how dire the financial straits are - not to mention the reviews - it just won't die. The tenth (!) entry into the body-horror series, Hellraiser: Judgment, hit home video early last year.
After 2011's appalling Hellraiser: Revelations left the series in impossibly bad shape - made for just $300,000 over a three week period in order to retain the rights - Judgment is at least a step in the right direction, for the little it's worth.
To be clear, it's still a bad movie and Paul T. Taylor is a poor substitute for Doug Bradley's franchise icon Pinhead, but at least the gore, the costumes and some of the ideas feel vaguely worthy of the Hellraiser brand.
Plus, it's just 81 minutes long, so at least it respects the audience's time, even if being a Hellraiser fan is, quite aptly, an exercise in self-flagellation at this point.
