13 Movie Sequels You Didn't Know Came Out In 2018

9. Day Of The Dead: Bloodline

Day of the Dead: Bloodline is first and foremost a remake of George A. Romero's legendary 1985 zombie classic Day of the Dead (the second remake, in fact), but as a result it's also technically a sequel to that film's predecessor, the iconic 1978 horror Dawn of the Dead.

Somehow even worse than the 2008 Mena Suvari-starring Day of the Dead remake, Bloodline has only some effective practical gore effects going for it, but otherwise it's horribly written, terribly acted and just really, really boring.

It was an especially offensive release coming mere months after Romero's death, because it couldn't be much further from the visceral, satirical brilliance of his original effort.

But thankfully, Bloodline is low-key enough that it's already disappeared without a trace, and consequently doesn't do much to sully the good name of Romero's iconic original trilogy.
