13 Movies That Made Being A Bad Guy Look Incredibly Cool

12. Scarface (1983)

Since when has Al Pacino not been cool? We love his overacting and his presence, and though his role as Tony Montana isn't his greatest (that will always go to Serpico), it is his most famous. Armed with a terrible Cuban accent, Pacino stars as an immigrant intent on taking over the drug cartel in 1980s Miami. Like The Wolf Of Wall Street, we follow the protagonist from his time with absolutely nothing, through his rapid ascent to the top. We see him fall in love with kingpin Lopez's partner, Elvira (Michelle Pfeiffer), and succumb to a cocaine addiction - all whilst being filthy rich. Although Montana is killed by the end of the film, De Palma paints a picture of what a life of crime can give you. Not only do you get to hook up with Michelle Pfeiffer, you also get the ridiculously over-the-top house and cars. Even the addiction looks enticing through sheer scope here - but seriously, don't do drugs. While Montana is an evil, ruthless character, Al Pacino plays him in such a way that we can only bask in the awesome glow he constantly exudes.

I love all things imaginative, from the page to the screen, and nurture a soft spot for Donald Sutherland and Daniel Bryan.
