13 Movies That Scored A Legendary F With CinemaScore

10. Dr T And The Women

The synopsis of Dr T & The Women - of a gynecologist whose life falls apart when his wife has a breakdown - and the fact that it was directed by legend Robert Altman should have suggested a great film, but it was too beige for its own good. Sadly for Altman - whose career deserved a better legacy - CinemaScore gave it an F.

Did It Deserve It?

Actually, no. It's far from the best film in the world, but it's far, far better than it sounds. You hear Richard Gere as a gynecologist and you immediately get an idea of something entirely different, when the reality is that it's surprisingly heart felt.

The critical reception was split almost down the middle, and while it didn't make its budget back, it wasn't far away. It's just rather forgettable, unfortunately. Presumably the audiences on opening night were just a little grumpy.
