13 Outrageously Awful 2014 Performances That Deserve Razzies
7. Nicola Peltz As Tessa Yeager - Transformers: Age Of Extinction
Believe it or not, but the Razzie-nominated Nicola Peltz hasn't improved a whole lot since her risible work on M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender, but then, let's face it: Michael Bay hired her more for her cute face and petite frame than for her acting chops. In the lineage of Transformers' female protagonists, Megan Fox is easily at the top: sure, she's not a brilliant actress, but she had enough of a feisty personality that she was at least memorable, and drop-dead gorgeous to boot. Peltz comes next: she's not quite as hilariously ditzy as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's Carly from Dark of the Moon, but she's just a generic, pretty girl with virtually no personality here whatsoever. Sure, the script mostly just calls for her to dodge flying metal and scream for her dad, but in spite of her attractiveness, she lacks charisma that even Carly is dripping with. Alright, so she's improved slightly from her atrocious work on The Last Airbender, but still, she's the worst of show in a movie filled with dubious performances.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
