13 Terrible Looking 2018 Movies That Will Shockingly Make A Profit

4. Book Club

Release Date: May 18

An early contender for 2018's most cringe-worthy film, Book Club centers around a group of older women (Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen) who read Fifty Shades of Grey in their book club, prompting them to seek out more adventure in their lives.

The trailer is, well, not good, completing ignoring the less-savory aspects of E.L. James' book and basically resembling a big-budget advert for it, with talented actresses thoroughly embarrassing themselves in the process.

A sex-positive movie about older women isn't an inherently bad idea, but built off the foundations of distinctly toxic source material? Yuck.

Predicted Box Office: $100 million. The all-star cast combined with the Fifty Shades brand name and a woefully malnourished pensioner demographic will put a lot of butts in seats for sure.

Releasing the same day as Deadpool 2 is smart, too, given the utter lack of audience cross-over between the two movies.
