13 Terrible Looking 2018 Movies That Will Shockingly Make A Profit
6. God's Not Dead: A Light In Darkness
Release Date: March 30
If you're not familiar with the God's Not Dead franchise, congratulations. The series of Christian propaganda movies is primed to appeal to the most fundamentalist, bible-thumping believers in America's bible belt, while throwing quite blatant shade at all those pesky non-believers.
This latest installment looks like yet another unintentionally hilarious, patronising film that quite literally preaches to the converted. With 15% and 9% Tomatometer scores for the first two movies repsectively, there's no hope for this inconceivable threequel.
Predicted Box Office: The first movie made a stonking $64.7 million on a mere $2 million budget and the second a still-respectable $24.5 million against $5 million, so with a clearly equivalent budget, there's really no way for this one to fail.
Even if it makes "only" $15 million, it'll still be solidly profitable relative to its cost.
