13 Terrible Recent Movies Destined To Become Cult Classics

Home invasion thrillers and sleazy genre films cynically aimed at the "urban market" (aka what crusty, old, white studio execs love to call black people) are a dime-a-dozen, but combine the two and you get a pretty special blend of awful.

Breaking In revolves around a mother's (Gabrielle Union) attempts to break back in to the vacation home she initially escaped from, where a gang of thieves have sequestered her two children.

Daring to take itself seriously, this is soft-edged hot garbage that's elevated to cult status thanks to Union's unnecessarily committed performance and a series of villains so dunder-headed they give Home Alone's Harry and Marv a run for their money.

Though the violence is sadly only of the PG-13 variety and it lacks the campy appeal you might hope for, there's still some easy fun to be had in an against-the-odds momma bear going feral on a gang of slack-jawed yokels.
