5. Kaecilius' Tiny Mistake Ruins His Entire Plan

In the 2016 film, Doctor Strange, Kaecilius needs to perform a ritual to open The Dark Dimension to release his master, Dormammu. He steals some pages from an ancient book in the library of Kamar-Taj that tells him how to open this portal. When the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj and Doctor Strange see which pages that Kaecilius has torn out, they realise what he about to do.

However, there is no way anyone would have figured out Kaecilius’ plan if he just… stole the whole book.

Also, Doctor Strange uses the exact same book to learn how to use the spells needed to defeat Kaecilius. If the evil sorcerer took the whole book, Strange would have never stood a chance against him.
