3. Self-Aware Product Placement

Product placement is a huge part of any Bond movie, but isn't it about time that it wasn't so lazy and cynical and they tried to have some fun with it or at least show a vague hint of self-awareness? After the cringe-worthy Omega dialogue in Casino Royale and seeing the forced visual of Bond drinking Heineken in the last two films, why not go a little more meta with it and make it clear to fans that they know it's a craven cash-grab? Sure, it's still obnoxious that this even needs to happen in such an impossibly successful series of movies, but it'd be easier to swallow down if it were played up for laughs. Maybe have Bond ask for Heineken, the barman tells him he doesn't have any, so he just walks off...or something like that (because, contractually, Bond can't drink any other beer)?
