13 Things You Learn Re-Watching Jurassic World

9. Plot Holes, Plot Holes Everywhere

If you value logic in your movies, this is not for you.

Why couldn't the gyrospheres be remotely controlled to bring Zach and Gray back to the ride station? Where did the T-Rex go after the final battle? Why did that idiotic employee open the enclosure door and allow the Indominus to escape?

This is absolutely full of implausible situations and it can't be denied that it is one utterly, utterly ridiculous movie. That doesn't ruin the film - lots of good films have plot holes - but Jurassic World does need you to suspend your disbelief quite a lot. In order to get into it fully, you need to watch it in a certain mindset and not take it too seriously.

If you're hoping for some improvement on this front in Fallen Kingdom, don't hold your breath. It's still completely ridiculous and features a scene when Chris Pratt outruns an erupting volcano.
