Alright, fine. Given that there had been three disasters involving the dinosaurs killing humans before, it wasn't particularly sensible to actually open the park in the first place. But come on, if they were going to open such a risky and expensive tourist attraction why hire such idiots to run it?

As well as the previously mentioned plot holes, everyone in charge of the park appears to be wildly incompetent. There wasn't nearly enough security on the island to prevent another tragedy and the park controllers seem to care more about business than evacuating the island and saving the thousands of people at risk from the dinosaurs.

Then again, this isn't entirely a bad thing. It allows the film to be a display of the dangers of runaway capitalism, corporate greed and mankind trying to play God. Colin Trevorrow has said he sees the film as examining these concepts, so this actually adds an interesting dimension to the film.
