13 Things You Learn Re-Watching Jurassic World

6. Zara's Death Is Quite Uncomfortable

Zara was a crappy character and actress Katie McGrath's English accent was distractingly bad, but she wasn't a bad person and did she really deserve such a mean-spirited demise?

She's first tossed around by some Pteranodons and then she gets eaten by the Mosasaurus, making this a very violent death for someone who's worst crime was being bad at her job. This scene literally lasts for about a minute and feels pretty cruel, making this a very uncomfortable scene to watch.

The most distracting thing about this scene is how pointless it is and feels more in line with something out of a violent horror movie. Since it isn't funny or scary, this death serves no purpose at all and while Zara was probably always doomed to get killed by the dinosaurs, there was no need to make it so drawn-out and dark.
