13 Trailers For This Summer's Most Anticipated Films

4. The Wolverine

the_wolverine While it may have lost some of its shine when Darren Aronofsky had to leave the project for personal reasons, James Mangold is no slouch. A more than competent director with quite a few decent films on his CV, hopefully The Wolverine will have enough about it to help it live up to the legacy it once had. Focusing on some of the most beloved Wolverine comics in history, the film is going to focus on hiss exploits in Japan and a bargain for his mortality. The trailer is looking good and suggests that this installment should overcome the other stand alone Wolverine title. Where it will stand up against other X-Men movies remains to be seen though. There is a good buzz surrounding this one but the failing of the X-Men: Origins might hurt the second, even if indirectly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rh1LdTFkm7I
