This is basically Red Flags: The Movie. It's a $200 million adaptation of a niche manga directed by the wildly inconsistent Robert Rodriguez, without a name actor attached to star.

It's also releasing within days of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Mary Poppins Returns, Aquaman and Bumblebee, all of which will basically eat it alive.

Unless Fox pushes the movie back into 2019 - which is already starting to get crowded - there's no hope for this whatsoever. It'll probably end up performing similarly to Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, which crawled to $225.9 million last summer.
