13 Upcoming Movies That Will Probably Get Cancelled

2. Cyborg

The Hype: As part of the DC Extended Universe, Justice League member Cyborg (Ray Fisher) will get his own solo movie, due for release in 2020.

Why It Won't Happen: The DCEU isn't exactly in great shape right now, so it doesn't seem particularly smart for Warner Bros. to push ahead with production on a solo movie for a superhero who, let's be honest, is still a hugely unknown quantity.

Even if Ray Fisher absolutely slays the part and Cyborg is a show-stealer in this November's Justice League, that doesn't mean he needs his own movie cranked out within the next three years.

A Flash movie? Sure, but it's hard to imagine Cyborg rustling up enough audience interest for his own movie to be a worthwhile endeavour.

Like The Hulk in the MCU, he'll probably end up an added value attraction in other movies, because spending even "only" $100 million on a standalone Cyborg movie is probably throwing money away.

Why It Still Could: Hell, with reshoots apparently making Cyborg more humourous in Justice League, maybe he's one of the movie's highlights, enough that Warner Bros. actually decides to strike while the iron's hot and get Cyborg's movie made.
