13 Worst Decisions Hollywood Has Made In 2017 (So Far)

1. Ridley Scott Plans Six More Alien Movies

Back in March, Ridley Scott confirmed that he's planning to go full steam ahead on the Alien franchise from this point, saying, "If you really want a franchise, I can keep cranking it for another six...I'm not going to close it down again. No way."

Though there has been some fan debate about how seriously Scott is when he speaks of six more movies, it's clear that he's happy to keep himself tethered to the franchise for the long haul, and considering his age, likely what remains of his career.

After Alien: Covenant proved hugely divisive among fans, it's safe to say that many are feeling that the Alien series might benefit from a fresh directorial vision away from Scott, whose past two efforts have turned in decidedly mixed results.

Does anyone really want another three or four Scott Alien movies, let alone six? It's just too much of a muchness, and sadly it's hard not to hear Scott's enthusiasm and groan a little.
