1. John Travolta (Speed Kills)

John Travolta sure had a year at the movies alright. Though he was firmly raked over the coals for his hysterically cliched performance in mob thriller Gotti this past summer, you can at least see the sincerity in that performance, misguided though it was.

This glorified money laundering scheme in which Travolta plays speedboat racing champion Don Aronow? Not so much.

There are laughs to be had - especially during the above sequence where Travolta throws his head back and cackles while driving a speedboat - but mostly it's just a staggering embarrassment for an actor of Travolta's former repute.

Even if you can get over the actor's glued-on wig and numerous coats of fake tan he's been near-drowned in, this isn't merely content to be a so-bad-it's-good case of an actor slumming it for some fast cash.

It's actually legitimately concerning that something might be deeply wrong with the man on a cellular level.
