13 Worst Movie Sequel Titles Ever

3. Jason Bourne

As a rule, can we just stop using the protagonist's name as a movie's title when we're multiple sequels deep into a franchise? It never sounds good and generally just confuses people by completely obliterating the existing titling convention.

The most recent example is 2016's Jason Bourne, which abandoned the "The Bourne _____" formula for absolutely no reason at all beyond guaranteeing audiences that it actually starred Matt Damon this time.

Other egregious instances include the sixth Rocky movie Rocky Balboa, the fourth Rambo movie simply being called Rambo (which is what most people flippantly refer to the first film as anyway) and the third Riddick film just being called Riddick (after the second was called The Chronicles of Riddick).

Look, we get it. Naming things is hard, but have a tad more imagination than this, you cowards. Otherwise, why are you even in the business of making movies?
