13 Worst Movie Sequel Titles Ever

10. Indiana Jones & The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull

The first three Indiana Jones films all had neat, simple and to-the-point titles which succinctly explained what the movies were about while homaging the kitschy adventure serials which they were themselves inspired by.

Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade are all memorable, catchy and tonally appropriate, but "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull"? Not so much.

While there's an undeniable bias at play here as most Indy fans weren't particularly fond of the movie or the titular trinket that the forgettable plot revolved around, it's also not a title that rolls of the tongue, sticks in the mind or really gets one excited to watch the film in any way.

Had Indy 4 actually been good it would've been forgivable, but the title's awfulness ultimately only compounds the fact that nothing was sufficiently thought through about this movie from the ground-up.

On the flip side, at least it's mildly less terrible than George Lucas' original planned title - "Indiana Jones & The Saucer Men." Yikes.
