13 Worst Movie Sequel Titles Ever

8. Fast & Furious

A lot of people dump on 2003's 2 Fast 2 Furious for its meme-worthy title, but you know what? It perfectly suits the knowingly absurd tone of that movie and is a giddy encapsulation of everything that was early 2000s blockbuster cinema.

Decidedly less charming, though, was the decision to name the fourth film in the franchise "Fast & Furious", simply stripping away "The" from the title of the original 2001 movie and hoping for the best.

This is about as blatant a sign of creative bankruptcy as you can get, and it's quite apt in a movie that's decisively the worst of the series.

Thankfully both the quality of the movies themselves and their titles picked up significantly after this, giving us bangers like Fast Five, Furious 7 and, wait for it, The Fate of the Furious.

The less said about "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw", though, the better.
