13 Worst Movie Sequel Titles Ever

7. Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday

In fairness, the Friday the 13th franchise is just a general car crash of awful and inconsistent titling choices, for after the fourth and "final" movie Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter was released, a fifth movie with the sub-title "A New Beginning" was released less than a year later. That's bold.

But as the saying goes, "fool me twice, shame on me", and 1993's Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday once again promised to be the final word on Jason Voorhees' story. Though the title did at least hold firm for almost a decade, it was just a matter of time before Voorhees' corpse was dredged up for another round of movies.

Jason X, Freddy vs. Jason and a franchise reboot followed across the 2000s, while a second reboot is also currently in the works.

Look, as a rule can we just keep the word "final" out of any future Friday the 13th movies? As long as humanity exists and cinema is a thing, Jason Voorhees isn't going anywhere.
