1. Tarantino Cinematic Universe
The Universe: Many have
already drawn connections between most of Quentin Tarantino's movies, from Reservoir Dogs all the way to Django Unchained, and Tarantino himself has readily admitted that his movies exist in two universes, the fantastical "Movie Movie" universe (Natural Born Killers, From Dusk Til Dawn, Kill Bill), and the more grounded "Realer than Real" universe (every other movie he's made). The two worlds apparently cannot crossover with rare exceptions, but what about if they did?
Why It'd Be Awesome: That QT appreciates the worlds of his movies and includes countless references to his iconic characters throughout other films is one thing, but imagine a unified Tarantino universe in which the Movie Movie and Realer than Real were smashed together? After all, it's not like Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained were super realistic and on-the-level anyway, so they're not exactly a million miles away from belonging in the Movie Movie universe. It'd add another wacky dimension to the director's world-building, and given the "heightened" feel to even his most down-to-Earth movies, it wouldn't ruin anything.
How Likely Is It?: 1/10. Tarantino is way too self-assured and confident as a filmmaker to change his mind on this one now, but it's always possible that he'll blur the line between his two not-so-distinct worlds in future movies.
