14 Crazy Facts You Just Have To Accept To Enjoy The DCEU

11. Movies Will Probably Get Delayed Or Cancelled

The DCEU's future path will depend heavily upon how well Wonder Woman and Justice League are received critically and commercially, because if they can't get those movies right, do you really think we're going to see the likes of Cyborg and Green Lantern less than three years later?

It'll be too late to halt the brakes on a project as risky as Aquaman (it's due out just 8 months after Justice League), but given that Cyborg is by far the JL's most niche hero and Green Lantern has already flopped once before, don't be shocked if these movies are either pushed back or, in Cyborg's case in particular, cancelled entirely.

Warner may indeed learn the lesson over the next few years that they're not Marvel and these solo movies just aren't going to fly for audiences, especially if Cyborg isn't given the strong sell to audiences in Justice League.

Sure, audiences want to see more Batman and Superman movies, and a Flash film will probably go down well enough, but it's hard to imagine Cyborg and Green Lantern shooting around 2.5 years from now unless the DCEU enjoys a major PR upswing with its next few movies.
