14 Dumbest Things In The Worst Summer Movie Season Ever

13. The Unforgivably Terrible CGI - Baywatch

There's a lot of bad CGI in The Rock's latest summer blockbuster, most egregiously during a fiery yatch rescue sequence, where Dwayne Johnson and his co-stars have clearly acted the majority of the scene against a green screen, before cheap explosions effects were crudely chroma-keyed in post-production.

Why It's Dumb: Because this is a near-$70 million movie and yet it couldn't find some cash to throw at a decent effects house to make sure the visuals weren't distractingly unconvincing.

It's hard to imagine anyone looking at the final product and being happy with the standard of the VFX, and considering how prominently the bad CGI was featured in trailers, perhaps its contributed somewhat to the film's underwhelming box office haul.
