14 Horror Film Sequels You Didn't Know Were In The Works

14. Ouija 2

Dear God, let's hope that's just a working title. With the resounding success of the original, Blumhouse Productions has decided - somewhat inevitably - to throw money at a sequel. While there is no one most people would know in this movie, the fact that Blumhouse has returned is pretty exciting. They€™ve released some really good titles throughout the years and are even set to release a new horror film called Viral next year which looks all too promising. Also, I€™m happy to note, that Elizabeth Reaser (Esme from the Twilight series) and Henry Thomas (Elliot from E.T and a whole lot of weirdos from lesser known, God-awful horror movies) are in this one and I€™m excited to see what they come up with together. The plot has yet to be released, but you have to assume that it€™s pretty much the same idea €“ a group of friends getting together and playing with an Ouija board. So, you know there will be the usual stereotypes: the girl that takes Ouija boards too seriously, the dumb jock type that doesn€™t take them seriously enough, and the young ingénue who just wants everyone to get along. On the whole, though, you€™re gonna get what you pay for, which is actually pretty fun. It€™s everything you wanted to happen when you played with an Ouija board when you were in high school, except with the added bonus of mysterious deaths. This gem is coming in October of 2016.

I am a college graduate of Penn State with two bachelors in the arts. When I'm not writing or performing, I am an SFX make-up artist for local up and coming films in the Houston area. I love horror movies, James Spader, and will watch anything suggested to me.
