8. Cabin Fever: Outbreak

This film is being presented as a remake of the original, but, with general story lines such as Cabin Fever's, remakes are really just sequels - a different group experiencing the same thing. The story line is pretty much the same €“ a group of horny co-eds shack up in a cabin and get sick from an unknown, flesh eating virus. Its projected success is touch and go right now because there have already been two sequels to the 2002 original that have just failed miserably. Hopefully, this Cabin Fever might be to the original as this year€™s Jurassic World was to Jurassic Park; in other words, it€™ll help us all forget the movies that came between. Eli Roth is listed in the cast as well as a contributing writer, though he is not directing. Instead, that honor is going to Travis Zariwny, who doesn€™t have any major directing credits under his belt, but is associated with some huge titles such as Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, Joyride, and Poolhall Junkies. Okay, so maybe just one huge title. This will, allegedly, be released next year.
