7. Sleepaway Camp: Reunion

You read that right; a sequel to the original Sleepaway Camp is coming€ at some point in the future, maybe. While there is no release date in sight, no names attached to the project, it has been promised since 2011 that this movie will be happening. It is currently in €œpre-production€ and could be for some time, but hey, that€™s Hollywood and it doesn't mean we won't get to see it. Set at the self same camp where everyone was brutally murdered, the sequel will apparently revolve around Mike, the last known survivor of Angela€™s psychotic rampage, after he gets an invitation to a 25 year reunion. If he says yes to that, he deserves absolutely everything bad that happens to him, frankly. While there was a revamp in 2008 called Return To Sleepaway Camp, starring the original cast (well, most of them), this film will finally put the series to rest in the right way. Sleepaway Camp has one of the largest cult followings of all 80s horror, so die-hard fans will not be disappointed at least.
