14 Horror Film Sequels You Didn't Know Were In The Works

6. Phantasm: Ravager

This one is coming out soon: it was supposed to be October this year, but it's now been pushed back to 2016. Everyone, even if they don€™t like or watch horror movies, knows what Phantasm is. Everyone. This is the year all series' are decidedly put to rest, with this year's October release of the "last" Paranormal Activity flick and the announcement of Resident Evil's last film in 2017. Phantasm: Ravager is no different; it is set up to be the last of the Phantasm movies. It can only be assumed this film will give the series a just and well deserved conclusion for all of its fans. Angus Scrimm is reprising his role as the Tall Man and Reggie Bannister is reprising his role as Reggie and, most importantly, Don Coscarelli is writing. It's good to see everyone coming back to lay Phantasm to rest. It really shows the love and importance that the creators have for the story and its characters, as well as their dedication to taking fans on the ride of their lives.

I am a college graduate of Penn State with two bachelors in the arts. When I'm not writing or performing, I am an SFX make-up artist for local up and coming films in the Houston area. I love horror movies, James Spader, and will watch anything suggested to me.
