14 Life Lessons You Can Learn From Jurassic Park

2. The Complexity Of Security Systems Is Often Overlooked

"I know this system" says Lex as Alan and Ellie are trying to hold the door shut against a vicious raptor and Tim's doing - well, what even in the hell is Tim doing right now? Dancing? Having a micro nap? Flipping the bird through the window at the raptor? Who knows? Anyway, Lex quite easily navigates through the Jurassic Park security systems - too easily in fact. A 13year old should not be able to work out the filing systems for a high security dinosaur-filled island, and that's a fact. No wonder the whole thing with Dennis happened: an idiot designed the system, leaving it open for pretty much anyone to play with it. Hell, he might as well have made it out of a Pac Man game or something.

I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
