9. Not Knowing Where The Switch Is On A Torch Will Only Lead To Trouble

Lex and Tim are pretty young, and pretty silly at times - and no one's forgetting how much trauma these kids go through in the space of a two hour movie. But, that does not excuse the fact that it takes a good thirty seconds of fiddling around with a torch in order to turn the light off so that consequently they won't be eaten by a hunting T-Rex. And in fact, after shining the light directly into the carnivores eye, the torch doesn't even get turned off anyway - the T-Rex pokes it's head through the car roof.
