Brad Pitt has been nominated for 5 Oscars, though only 3 of them have been for acting: he's also been nominated for playing producer on Moneyball and 12 Years A Slave, and last night, this paid off dividends as the actor won his first Oscar, by way of 12 Years' Best Picture win. It's one of those facts that could so easily slip past viewers, given how talented and prolific Pitt is as an actor that he somehow hasn't won a major acting award yet, though this will no doubt be a major consolation for all of his hard work over the years. Hopefully this won't stop Pitt from looking out for his next meaty, Oscar-worthy role, though...
