1. Captain America Dies In Avengers: Infinity War

The Prediction: Captain America is killed by Thanos at the climax of Avengers: Infinity War, resulting in a brutally devastating cliffhanger ending. Considering how Cap's demise was subverted in Civil War and Chris Evans is keen to do other things, this feels like the right time for him to die and pass the Cap mantle onto either Bucky or Falcon.

Why It Might Not Happen: Even though Evans has repeatedly stated his desire to direct, he has also hinted more recently that he'll always be happy to return to the Cap role, so it might be jumping the gun to start anticipating his death already.

Plus, Marvel Studios loves to defy audience expectations, and with just about everyone expecting Cap or Iron Man to die in Infinity War, what if a more unexpected character, like Star-Lord for instance, is the one to get greased?
