11. Deadpool 2 Improves Upon The Original

The Prediction: As is the most rare feat of movie sequels, Deadpool 2 is a rock solid improvement over the original film, boasting an infinitely better villain in Josh Brolin's Cable, giving Morena Baccarin's Vanessa more to do, and not adhering to generic superhero tropes as much as the first outing.

Why It Might Not Happen: If returning writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick get a little complacent, they could very easily just play Deadpool 2 as a greatest hits re-run of the first film, complete with a low-effort plot that fails to make the most of the talented cast.

And of course, it's possible that the first Deadpool was really just lightning in a bottle, and the character's meta motormouth shenanigans simply lack the same infectious, uproarious glee the second time around.
