14 Shocking Facts From The Sony Leak

2. A Lot Of Employees Don't Like Adam Sandler Movies

A text file containing employee complaints from 2012 came to light, with a large number of the derisory comments referring to the studio's insistence to placate Adam Sandler and his glut of financially successful but creatively uninspired movies. Thankfully for those involved, all of the comments were left anonymously, but the most damning of all read, "There is a general 'blah-ness' to the films we produce. Although we manage to produce an innovative film once in awhile, Social Network, Moneyball, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, we continue to be saddled with the mundane, formulaic Adam Sandler films... Let's raise the bar a little on the films we produce, and inspire employees that they are working on the next Social Network." It's unlikely that comments like this will put a dent in plans for Grown Ups 3, but at least Sandler won't be able to target any employees specifically due to the anonymous nature of the text dump.
