14 Terrible Looking 2017 Movies That Will Shockingly Make A Profit

2. Sandy Wexler

Adam Sandler Sandy Wexler
Netflix

Release Date: April 14

Why It Looks Terrible: Sandy Wexler is the third of Adam Sandler's four planned movies going straight-to-Netflix, and this time, Sandler plays the titular talent manager as he attempts to navigate Hollywood in the 1990s.

Though it looks mildly less awful than his two previous Netflix films, The Ridiculous Six and The Do-Over, it still has the unmistakable whiff of an overly-glossy, easy payday for Sandler and a bunch of his pals.

Why It'll Still Make A Profit: While the film isn't being released through conventional means, it's still sure to be majorly profitable for Netflix upon release, considering that Sandler's two previous Netflix Originals went straight to #1 on the streaming platform in every single country that they were released.

Sandler's popularity, especially when audiences don't have to head to the cinema to watch his movies, is clear, and there's little reason why his third effort won't repeat the same success, especially with a litany of cameos from Kevin James, Terry Crews, Chris Rock, Judd Apatow, Richard Lewis, Rob Schneider, Carl Weathers, Henry Winkler, David Spade, Vanilla Ice and many, many more to sweeten the deal.

Don't be surprised if when this four-picture deal is done, Netflix offers Sandler another tasty contract.
