14 Terrible Recent Movies Destined To Become Cult Classics

1. The House

Why It's Terrible: Probably the most low-effort comedy turned in by either Will Ferrell or Amy Poehler in many years, The House squanders its potential to be a satire about the American education system, instead drowning its litany of lazy gags in a sea of Stella Artois product placement. Ewww.

Why It'll Be A Cult Classic: There is one single redeeming element of this film, and that's the supporting performance by Jason Mantzoukas, who steals every scene he's in, and is thankfully in the movie a lot.

As a comedian, Mantzoukas already has his own legion of loyal fans, and it's safe to say they're going to account for a lot of the movie's home video buys in the future. He just barely manages to redeem the film from the abyss, enough that it can be enjoyed with some beers and buddies.

Which recent cinematic disasters do you expect to become cult classics in the near-future? Shout them out in the comments!
