14 Upcoming Movie Remakes That Might Not Actually Suck

Dario Argento's 1977 horror classic is one of the most memorable and celebrated entries into the genre, singled out for its uniquely unsettling tone, strong performances and eye-wateringly beautiful, surreal visuals.
A remake has unsurprisingly been planned for a while, but only now has it come to fruition, with terrific Italian filmmaker Luca Guadagnino (I Am Love, A Bigger Splash) directing, while Chloe Grace Moretz, Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton star. Shooting was finished by March of this year.
Of course, nobody's expecting this to supplant Argento's Earth-shattering original, but Guadagnino is an extremely skilled director and the cast should certainly do it justice. It's likely that his version will distinctly differ from Argento's, and that's probably for the best.
