14 Washed-Up TV Shows In Desperate Need Of Cancellation

8. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

If Law and Order: SVU can cling to life for another few seasons, it will eclipse the length of the original Law and Order show itself, though given that Christopher Meloni's Elliot Stabler quit the show after season 12 and the ratings have been on a sharp decline ever since, it's probably best to put the old dog down sooner rather than later. By season 16, the show has just become hilariously predictable yet lacks the self-awareness to make light of this fact. It's the same old formula in every single episode, and even the injection of fresh new faces can't enliven a show that should have ended when Meloni decided to give it up. Watching the series now, it's just sad and depressing.
