15 Actors Who Stupidly Turned Down Billion Dollar Movies

3. William Hurt - Jurassic Park

Harrison Ford wasn't the only one who didn't accept the offer when Steven Spielberg came calling with the Jurassic Park script in hand. After gaining critical acclaim for The Doctor in 1991, William Hurt turned down the role of Dr. Grant apparently without even reading the script. Presumably, he just didn't like dinosaurs.

Sean Connery also passed on the chance to play the iconic character, who has pretty much become Sam Neill's most defining role.

Juliette Binoche also apparently chose to do Trois couleurs: Bleu over Jurassic Park too. Not a bad call, but not a lucrative one.
