2. Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral
Status: The second sequel in the horror franchise has been talked about for years, but production has stalled countless times, and we still have no idea when (or if) it's actually getting made.
Why It's Going To Development Hell: One of the major bones of contention is the studio allowing convicted child molester Victor Salva to return to direct number three. Though, in fairness, the offense pre-dates the first Creepers film by over a decade, it's still terrible PR for a sequel that's not in huge demand as it is.
The last major update said that the movie would begin filming in April of this year...a deadline which has passed without any further update, while producer Stan Spry just "confirmed" that the movie wasn't cancelled, but that they were currently securing a domestic distribution deal.
Don't be shocked if it never happens, folks.
