5. Floyd Lawton a.k.a Deadshot

Floyd Lawton is a master assassin who often boasts that he never misses (although thats not exactly true thanks to Bats). Originally introduced as a new hero, Lawton was secretly planning to usurp Batman and replace him as Gothams defender but of course, you cant pull the wool over the Dark Knights eyes for long. After serving his a prison sentence for his crimes against Gotham, Lawton becomes an assassin for hire. While hes frequently at odds with Batman, hes not
exactly a straight villain; then again hes not exactly a hero either. Lawton is a fully ambiguous character and while hell often decide to aid Batmans cause, hell equally as often act against it. Despite the characters popularity, hes never been included in a live action Batman movie before. And hey, perhaps he wouldnt make a great primary antagonist, but he could provide a fantastic redemption themed sub-plot: he starts the film as a villain (perhaps working with someone more psychotic like Thomas Hush Elliot maybe?) but joins Batman after being pushed to commit horrific atrocity.
