15 Awesome Batman Characters We Still Haven’t Seen On Film

5. Floyd Lawton a.k.a Deadshot

Floyd Lawton is a master assassin who often boasts that he never misses (although that€™s not exactly true thanks to Bats). Originally introduced as a new hero, Lawton was secretly planning to usurp Batman and replace him as Gotham€™s defender but of course, you can€™t pull the wool over the Dark Knight€™s eyes for long. After serving his a prison sentence for his crimes against Gotham, Lawton becomes an assassin for hire. While he€™s frequently at odds with Batman, he€™s not exactly a straight villain; then again he€™s not exactly a hero either. Lawton is a fully ambiguous character and while he€™ll often decide to aid Batman€™s cause, he€™ll equally as often act against it. Despite the character€™s popularity, he€™s never been included in a live action Batman movie before. And hey, perhaps he wouldn€™t make a great primary antagonist, but he could provide a fantastic redemption themed sub-plot: he starts the film as a villain (perhaps working with someone more psychotic like Thomas €˜Hush€™ Elliot maybe?) but joins Batman after being pushed to commit horrific atrocity.
