15 Awesome Death Scenes In Otherwise Terrible Movies

11. Rocket Launcher Vs. Parkour - Punisher: War Zone

While nobody could claim that this 2008 Punisher sequel took itself too seriously, it did remind everyone that an R-rating alone does not a good movie make.

Still, among its gory death scenes, it does feature one legendary sequence of wanton slaughter, as Frank Castle (Ray Stevenson) takes care of a gang of drug-fueled parkour enthusiasts.

As one of the men attempts to leap across a ledge, Castle fires a freaking heat-seaking missile at the poor sap, exploding him into meaty chunks in the most hilariously and cheap-looking way possible.

As far as gratuitous, wildly unnecessary death scenes go, there are few that can measure up to this insanity.
