RottenTomatoes Score: 13% The Plot: A lonely music professor (Armand Assante) tries to woo an animal researcher (Karen Allen), but of course, plenty of...animal behaviour...gets in the way. Get it? Why It Sucks: Firstly, yes, Holly Hunter will be appearing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, though the nature of her role is currently under-wraps. And now, back to Animal Behaviour... It's well known (by the few who've actually heard of the film, mind) that Animal Behaviour suffered through a difficult post-production process, but even so, like almost every comedy involving animals (this one heavily features a chimp), it's low-hanging fruit and really not worth your time. Allen and Assante are weirdly-cast and don't have a ton of chemistry, while Hunter, who appears in a supporting role and had just been nominated for an Oscar the year before, gives a weirdly poor performance. This is a woefully misguided meet-cute that does nobody any favours, and thankfully for all involved, it's pretty much been resigned to the bargain basement abyss.
