11. The Cold Light Of Day (2012) - Henry Cavill
RottenTomatoes Score: 5% The Plot: Will Shaw (Cavill) must rescue his family after they're kidnapped by mysterious agents who are looking for a briefcase stolen by Will's CIA agent father Martin (Bruce Willis). Why It Sucks: Everything about this movie is totally "off": the direction makes straight-to-video duds seem competent by comparison, the script is a lazy, sub-Bourne knock-off, and despite being prominently advertised, Bruce Willis is killed off about half an hour into the movie. Cavill may shine as the Man of Steel these days, but this pre-Superman vehicle gave him little to work with, nor Sigourney Weaver, who is probably the only person in the film actually making some effort. Everyone was in this for the easy pay-day, and the results speak volumes about that.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
