15 Awful Films Mission Impossible Actors Want You To Forget
4. Bad Company (2002) - Anthony Hopkins
RottenTomatoes Score: 10% The Plot: After CIA Agent Kevin Pope (Chris Rock) is killed in a botched operation, his twin brother Jake is recruited to continue his work, teaming with veteran Agent Oakes (Hopkins) to complete his brother's mission. Why It Sucks: In honesty, the plot-line is just a few degrees away from being pure parody, and though it clearly wants to be another 48 Hours, Rock and Hopkins are given little of imagination or interest to do, despite their reasonable-ish efforts. The plot is pure generic mulch and considering the unavoidable similarities to 9/11, the flippant action-comedy tone seems wildly inappropriate. It makes little sense, everyone's in it for the payday, and ironically, it ended up failing to make its wildly over-inflated $70 million budget back. Christ.
