11. Unfinished Business (2015) - Tom Wilkinson

RottenTomatoes Score: 11% The Plot: Business owner Dan Trunkman (Vince Vaughn) heads to Germany with his two partners, the experienced Tim McWinters (Wilkinson) and the nervous young upstart Mike Pancake (Dave Franco), to close a deal, but find all sorts of personal and professional obstacles standing in the way of his success. Why It Sucks: In fairness, Wilkinson is by far the best thing in this wildly undercooked comedy, which boasts a decent enough premise but just doesn't do enough with it. It's too content to be another occasionally amusing Vince Vaughn Comedy with an awful, schmaltzy family plot nobody asked for. Vaughn looks positively asleep for most of the run-time, and while Wilkinson is occasionally good fun as the horny, drug-taking, booze-filled old man, the script just doesn't give him enough of true outrage to make his against-type casting work as effectively as it could have. A major missed opportunity if there ever was one.
